Voting in California in the November 2024 General Election

As we approach the November 5th, 2024 General Election, it’s crucial for Californians to be informed about the voting process. Here are some key dates and details:

  • Last Day to Register: October 21, 2024.
  • Vote-by-Mail Ballots: All active registered voters will receive a vote-by-mail ballot, which will be mailed by October 7, 2024.
  • Ballot Drop-off Locations: Open on October 8, 2024.
  • Vote Centers: Open for early in-person voting in all Voter’s Choice Act counties beginning on October 26, 2024.
  • Vote-by-Mail Ballot Deadline: Must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by November 12, 2024.
